Science Learning Partnership

The Sussex Science Learning Partnership (Sussex SLP or SLP) co-ordinates and manages East and West Sussex, which provides quality, subject specific continuous professional development for primary and secondary schools in the area. It is part of a network of SLPs and other support for schools that is managed by STEM Learning.

We combine local expertise in teaching and learning in science, facilitating CPD, and providing school-to-school support. We offer quality, high impact science CPD through a range of full day or twilight sessions. We also work with schools on an individual basis to provide bespoke support to meet the differing needs of schools across the area.

"I was able to take something out of every session that I can use in the classroom or in groups." feedback from a class teacher on a course 'Making powerful connections between primary maths and science,' January 2017

"The presenter was very knowledgeable and good at presenting ideas and discussion."  feedback from a secondary science  teacher on a course 'Preparing for the required practicals for the new AQA gcse Physics' , November 2016
