Welcome - 2018/19 Newsletter

It has been a busy Autumn term with network meetings, CPD courses and bespoke support activities happening across Sussex. Our biggest event was a network meeting at Eastergate Primary School led by Dr Debs Wilkinson, a senior lecturer in Primary Education at Chichester University.  Our next meeting is on the 14th February 2019 and from this we will form 3 separate groups to enable networking to carry on effectively across the Chichester area.  We are planning a similar strategy in East Sussex where Jacky Cross, a former East Sussex advisor led a meeting at Uckfield and Jo Fox, a Space Ambassador, initiated one at Ninfield Primary School.  Again, meetings are planned for next term.  The termly secondary Heads of Science meetings held at Downlands School, Hassocks, and at St Andrews School, Worthing, continue to flourish and I would like to set up a similar forum at a school in the Chichester area.  If you would like to host then do please get in touch at SLP@millais.org.uk.  If the SLP can support you in any way please contact us at SLP@millais.org.uk.
