National College Project
The Millais Alliance was chosen to take part in in a project focused on Evidence Based Teaching: Advancing Capability and Capacity for Enquiry in Schools (EBT-ACCESs) which is being led by Manchester Metropolitan University.
The project is being led by the members of the Millais Alliance who are members of the Research and Development Strategic Team. These members have been nominated by their schools because of an interest in R&D.
The Alliance schools taking part in the project are:
- Millais School
- Tanbridge House School
- The College of Richard Collyer
- The Weald Community School and Sixth Form
- Oathall Community College
- Imberhorne School
- Forest School
The member of the strategic group will lead the work in their school. They will be working with around half a dozen other colleagues. Sussex University is also going to be involved in delivering training for colleagues taking part in the research and supporting them through the Sussex Research Leaders Network.
As part of the project the Introduction to Research Programme has been set up - please see the tab for more information.
